MANILA, Philippines – Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo and her two alleged siblings escaped the Philippines via boat, according to Sheila Guo during a Senate hearing on Tuesday, August 27. However, the date and location are foggy at this point because Alice’s sister, Sheila, stated that she could barely recall, prompting government officials to construct a theory based on Sheila’s affirmation. “We went on a small boat, then a big boat, and finally a small boat.” Sheila described the sea travel they went on, in response to senators’ questions.
Sheila said she, Alice, and Wesley were fetched from their farmhouse in Tarlac by a van, after which they traveled by land for around five hours to reach a port.
