MANILA, Philippines – On Tuesday, August 27, Sandro Muhlach revealed that he was reportedly forced to use illicit narcotics by GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz before being sexually raped. The 23-year-old Sparkle musician said this during the Senate Committee on Information and Mass Media’s fifth hearing on abuse and harassment accusations on Tuesday, where he appeared remotely. Cruz, on the other hand, was unable to attend the court since his lawyer informed him that he is being treated at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig City for gastrointestinal hemorrhage.
Muhlach went on to explain the scenario that led him to Nones and Cruz’s hotel room during the GMA Gala event on July 20. He claimed that after being presented by Nones to an intoxicated Cruz, Nones forced him to drink wine, handed him a P500 cash, and pulled out an unidentified “white substance.”
